Buying local vs. micro local

Farmers’ markets are nice. But if you really want to buy local, avoid industrial agricultural practices, and get food at its peak flavor, then why not go straight to the farm? Especially when the fields are mapped out in neighborhood backyards all down your street. This campaign helped bring the success of backyard farming into the front yard, increasing word of mouth and new membership.
